The Text Said Here’s £3,000 To Fix The Headline - Getting Paid As A Copywriter
How much can you get paid as a copywriter to write a handful of words? Can you, as a copywriter get paid for a copy critique? This is what happened when I received a text from a client, the text said here’s £3,000 for writing some words. To be more precise, he was asking me to fix the sales letter headline for his business sales letter.

“so the text read Alan I put three thousand pound in your PayPal check your email can you fix.
This is Alan The Accidental Copywriter with another short story I was actually training in a gym in to please in the Republic of Georgia on my phone pinged from a client and they said um said Alan I put three thousand pound in your bank account um I need you to fix this right away so I thought well that was quite cool I'm in the gym in the middle of nowhere in a strange city of the strange language not working just hanging out with my wife and somebody sent me three thousand pounds and remember I used to work 100 hours a week as a hairdresser so I checked the email and what he actually wanted and what he needed was he needed me to check the headline and the top of his pages and offer some changes that was it.
So I thought to myself this I and I am still grateful when this these things happen this is just incredible this is maybe around 2013/2012. and I actually did a screenshot of the the message this is incredible that me who used to be a hairdresser working all these hundreds of hours a year you know 100 hours a week whatever. I was running these salons they're only 300 pounds a week, I was being sent three thousand pounds by text to have a look at somebody's headline and make a change if you're willing to put the time in if you're willing to read the books if you're willing to do the research if you're willing to make the airport and you're willing to find somebody who will sit by you and say yes that is amazing no you have to improve and so on and so forth you can become a copywriter you just have to make the effort if an ex-hairdresser can do it you can do it also.
